it can feel like there is a struggle going on within the mind when we start to train it
we become familiar with a train of thought over lifetimes and then suddenly we try to turn this around - yes it can be a battle - but how to make it easier.
activities become easy and finally effortless if we enjoy them
training the mind can be the same:
transforming challenging situations into solutions
there are many ways in which we can do this
the main cause for our mental suffering is when we focus too much on our self - on what they said to me, on how it made me feel, on how they should have treated me.
this is one of the root causes for our troubles and unhappiness - if we can change and alter the perspective of attention on the self then we can start to see our problems fade away.
